Job Description
|
JOB ROLE
Our client is looking for an experienced Software Team Leader to be part of a distributed software development team. The successful candidate will have strong architecture and implementation skills of system-level software with the ability to cover a diverse range of technologies and solutions. An ability to turn product visions into reality and create well designed solutions from complex requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
All aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, architecture, development, testing, support and maintenance. |

REQUIREMENTS
Education to Degree Level or equivalent ideally Computer Science or similar subject.
A hands-on team Leader.
Practical, problem-solving approach.
Proven experience in architecting and building complex software solutions.
Technical leadership experience i.e. lead small development teams, or worked as a development lead on a project.
Strong leadership potential i.e. could lead a team of 7-9 people easily.
Solid technical experience in software development
Proven track record in software development
Strong technical software skills
Strong communication skills.
Enthusiastic, dedicated team player with a will to succeed.
Able to work directly with customers and partners.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
High-level of knowledge and experience of Microsoft .NET Framework.
Experience of ASP.NET, Windows Process Activation Service, Windows Communication Foundation, SQL Server.
Experience of CICS, IMS or JCL highly advantageous.
Experience of COBOL highly advantageous.
Experience of agile development methodologies.
Strong problem solving skills.
Demonstrate innovative and creative thinking. |
